A promising mango harvest outlook for 2025

A promising mango harvest outlook for 2025

We've had encouraging news from India’s key mango-growing regions. Early signs suggest a significantly improved Totapuri and Alphonso crop, though weather remains the deciding factor.

In Chittoor and Krishnagiri, Totapuri yields are forecast to rise 40–60% vs. 2024, thanks to strong fruit setting and favourable early-season rains. Karnataka also shows promise, with robust Totapuri development — though Alphonso yields face some heat stress setbacks.

Western regions like Ratnagiri report lower Alphonso volumes due to poor flowering, while areas like Vijayawada are on track for a 40–45% yield boost.

Market-wise, Totapuri puree demand is steady but tempered by last year’s surplus, while Alphonso puree prices are rising on limited supply and high demand.

As ever, rainfall in the coming weeks will be key .. Naturen will continue to monitor conditions closely!
