We've just welcomed home Jamie, our MD, and Nick, our head of the Quality and Technical team, who have been on a supplier visit across Pakistan, including Karachi, where they toured key production facilities for sweeteners such as rice, tapioca, and oat syrup, as well as maltodextrin which are essential ingredients across the food sector.

A highlight of the trip was visiting an organic rice mill, reaffirming Naturen’s commitment to full ingredient traceability. Ensuring our rice syrup starts with certified organic rice is central to our sourcing promise, especially for baby food and organic markets.

Alongside quality and compliance checks, the trip was an opportunity to build deeper, long-term relationships with local partners. The team also visited producers of starches and proteins, ingredients widely used in both human and animal nutrition.

Being on the ground gives us richer insight into our partners' operations, culture, and values - and a chance to enjoy warm Pakistani hospitality along the way.
